I thought this was one of the better documentaries I have seen on that event. I stayed up late watching that, and it gets you in the feelz. It's more focused on the experiences of the men on the ground, vs focusing on the larger topics such as choices (mostly bad...) by MacArthur and such compared to other documentaries. A gent came into the museum recently who had been there, and recommended it to me. He said he felt it was the best of them for giving a sense of what they had to deal with.

One consistent thought I had watching it was when do we stop underestimating the enemy?! That seems to cause as much death and destruction for the US consistently than the damn enemy, Korea and Nam being glaring examples exist. It would seem that by not under estimating Iraq in Gulf War, and going at it as we did, was why they died badly and we had more causalities by friendly fire than we did from enemy fire.
